The SAIS project responds to a need of Leonardo Helicopter Division regarding the study and definition of the specifications of new-generation flight controls for tiltrotor aircraft.<\/p>\n\n
The goal of the project is to design, develop, implement, and qualify a new flight control architecture, ergonomically designed and featuring logical controls, diagnostic capabilities, and, most importantly, haptic sensor technology.
