Research, innovation and business: Campania at Expo Dubai

From 6 to 12 February the Campania Region was among the protagonists at the Universal Exhibition in Dubai, within the Italian Pavilion, with thematic workshops, institutional panels and exhibitions with a focus on Research, Innovation and Business.

A journey between challenge and innovation 

The exhibition aims to present the Campania aerospace sector, one of the most important national poles with the presence of an excellent network of companies, scientific research and advanced training. The path explored the technological and production capabilities, the origins and future trajectories, showing the relationships in the three domains: air, suborbital and space. Scale models, documents and archive images were exhibited.

Borgo 4.0 sustainable Mobility

The program continued with the institutional Panel dedicated to Campania’s aerospace excellence and laboratories on the Innovation and Research Ecosystem of Campania and then concluded with the panel dedicated to Sustainable Mobility: Borgo 4.0 organized by the Directorate General for Research of the Campania Region in collaboration with ANFIA National Association of the Automotive Industry. Furthermore, there was a focus on the strategy for attracting investments, decisive for pushing innovation in production processes, introducing new technologies and new ideas, creating new jobs, to transform the post-crisis rebound into structural growth of the Campania economy.
