After two years of stoppage, due to Covid, the XIII edition of EnergyMed has brought back as protagonists the companies that offer sustainable transport solutions, increased mobility for smart cities, energy efficiency, innovative green power systems, and which offer perspectives of the energy present that look to the future.

The exhibition area of over 8,000 square meters provided an exhaustive overview of the potential offered by technological integration and the ideas offered by energy efficiency and the circular economy increasingly at the center of international policies of sustainable and inclusive development.

In the wake of the numerous innovations related to the PNRR, this edition was entirely dedicated to the “Green Revolution and ecological transition” to make an important contribution to the energy transition towards renewable energy sources and make mobility sustainable in the general perspective of a circular economy.

The protagonist is the technological platform promoted by the region to promote the challenges of Open innovation with the aim of increasing the innovation potential of start-ups and SMEs and generating development and competitiveness. An initiative that promotes the accompaniment of the matching between the technological offer coming from nascent entrepreneurship with the prospective needs of large companies and institutions, aimed at finding solutions capable of impacting on the well-being of citizens and on the productive induced of the area of the Mediterranean.

The initiative proved to be the ideal tool to enhance the potential and innovative excellence of the Campania region and push towards a green and sustainable restart.
