Mare Group moves training to the Metaverse 

At Expo 2020 in Dubai the main theme «Connecting Minds, Creating the Future», also closely connected to the Arabic name of the city, al-Waṣl which means “the connection”, intends to recall the spirit of collaboration in the name of development and innovation. Three main guidelines that can be summarized in Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability inspire to protect the planet, explore new frontiers and build a better future. In this context, the proposed Italian model, summarized under the slogan «The beauty connects people», aims to be the expression of the creative genius and cultural richness of our country, the result of interconnections between various cultures, of constant contamination over the centuries.   

The event was the ideal opportunity to show the “great beauty” of our country and present the first industrial training carried out entirely in the Metaverse. 

Mare Group, a company with extraordinary potential for innovation and research, has demonstrated its skills by connecting the minds of the future with a virtual reconstruction of a workstation shared between two people 4500km away. Two users assembled an electric motor together, collaborating hands-free, without gloves or controllers, passing objects, using tools and exchanging directions just as they would if they were working on the production line. 

Mare Group has demonstrated its Italian know-how and possesses the digital culture to design tomorrow.
