The SAIS project in Toulouse, the “ville rose”
ECATA (European Consortium for Advanced Aerospace Training) brings together the main European aerospace industries (such as Leonardo, SAFRAN, SAAB, Dassault, MTU, BAE Systems, AirBus) and technical universities (such as Politecnico di Torino, ISAE Supaero-Tolosa, TUM-Monaco, KTH-Stockholm, Cranfield University, TU-Delft) with an ambitious program of dissemination and exchange of scientific information for the development of aerospace industry leaders.
This year, in Toulouse at ISAE-SUPAERO, all the members gathered to celebrate 30 years of partnership, of sharing ideas between academic research and industrial works.
At the link https://events.isae.fr/event/17/page/43-agenda it is possible to consult the agenda of the event.
Lectures, workshops and seminars, with the right combination of theory and practical exercises, have been an important showcase for gaining an understanding of the global aerospace landscape.
Our participation was an opportunity to present the results of the European SAIS project, but not only, it was an opportunity to experience cooperation between multinational teams, a resource of fundamental importance for the successful development of programs with international cooperation, and keep up with the incredible evolution of the industry.
