At the same time, Mare Group will become a shareholder in Metriks AI through a convertible bond mechanism that links returns to future performance.<\/p><p>The transaction marks another step in the strategic path launched at the end of 2025, when Mare Group acquired control of Workgroup, and further sharpens the company\u2019s focus by consolidating its cross-sector digital transformation offering. Antonio Torino will continue to lead Workgroup and will join the Board of Directors of Metriks AI.<\/p><p>Antonio Maria Zinno, CEO of Mare Group, commented: \u201cWorkgroup needs an environment where software and Artificial Intelligence are the main drivers, and Metriks AI provides that environment. [\u2026] Mare Group will continue to support the project through its next phase of development by becoming a shareholder in Metriks AI and retaining exposure to the value that Workgroup will contribute to creating.\u201d<\/p><p>Antonio Torino, CEO of Workgroup, commented: \u201cJoining the Metriks AI project will help us accelerate our innovation roadmap, expand our target market and further speed up the development of our software platforms.
