Mare Group is recruiting an IT Specialist for the IT area, based in Salerno.
An IT Specialist with at least 5 years of previous experience, to organise, manage and complete corporate IT support activities.
Position description
The selected candidate will join a dynamic, fast-growing organisation.
They will work with the IT Service Manager to provide support and maintenance for all IT and hardware systems. The work includes installing, configuring and updating hardware and software, and maintaining the company's infrastructure and application portfolio.
Under the supervision and following the instructions of their direct manager (IT Service Manager), they will ensure
hw/sw support and maintenance and operate within the general requirements set out in company rules and procedures. They will be responsible for:
- Installing and configuring new technologies for company use, such as hardware, operating systems and programs or applications.
- Providing support to company staff or customers experiencing IT problems:
- Running diagnostics on faulty hardware or software;
- Setting up profiles and e-mail accounts and issuing access passes for new employees, providing support for any password-related issue.
- Performing security checks on all systems.
- Checking the status of all IT and hardware systems.
- Producing reports on the status of systems and hardware.
- Replacing damaged hardware.
- Solving problems with the company's application software
- Testing, evaluating and learning about new technologies and updates.
- Taking part in the monitoring of IT activities
- Managing the IT data related to their own activity in accordance with the rules of the 9001 and 27001 procedure
- Problem solving and analysis to resolve HW/SW issues

Candidate profile
- Basic knowledge of service management principles
- Technical knowledge of server administration for the main operating systems (Windows, Unix/Linux)
- Knowledge of IT infrastructures, wireless infrastructures, networks, communication protocols, active communication equipment (switches, routers, firewalls)
- Good knowledge of HW maintenance (workstations) and SW maintenance (basic SW updates)
- Good knowledge of cloud environments (Office, management software) and hosting
- Basic knowledge of IT security systems, in the field of privacy and data protection;
- Good knowledge of office tools
- Experience in problem solving
- English language, level B1

Previous work experience
At least 5 years of previous experience in complex medium-to-large organisations.
