Herfuse
The project falls within the scope of Horizon Europe (specifically the Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking): the aim is to design innovative fuselage and empennage suitable for the future regional hybrid-electric aircraft (HER), which will contribute to the overall objective of reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. HERFUSE will study the challenges related to fuselage and empennage layout, materials, components, manufacturing and assembly arising from fuselage systems integration for a hybrid-electric regional aircraft.
