Mare Group is recruiting a Junior Unreal Engine Developer for the Digital area, full remote or hybrid, based in Benevento.
Position description
Development and implementation of features in 3D projects using Unreal Engine and C++. Skills in computer graphics, 3D mathematics and performance optimisation, with a focus on VR, multiplayer and advanced rendering.

Contract type
We are considering both full-time permanent employment and freelance collaboration (VAT number). The type of contract will be determined according to the candidate's profile and needs.
Expected grade (gross annual salary, RAL)
Depending on previous experience, from 25 to 35 K.
Candidates with the following characteristics
Previous work experience
At least 2 years of development with Unreal Engine using C++.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Unreal Engine version 5.x.
- Experience with other 3D game engines.
- Familiarity with VR, multiplayer, asset streaming, shader programming, procedural geometry generation, profiling and performance optimisation.
- Experience with one or more rendering APIs (OpenGL, DirectX, Vulkan, Metal).
- Published video games (including non-gaming applications based on game engines).
- At least one demo project whose source code can be discussed at the interview (even if not public).
Education
- Degree in Computer Science.
- Degree in Computer Engineering.
- Equivalent qualification or comparable professional experience.
