(Spray Nozzle Technical Characterization)
NOZZLE-TEC develops innovative “meshless” fluid dynamics and structural simulation technologies for the spray-bar nozzles of the IWT ice tunnel of CIRA, using advanced methods (ALE, SPH, FSI). The project aims to integrate CFD-FE models and Digital Twin optimizing their design, efficiency, safety and environmental sustainability as well as industrial competitiveness.
Final goal:
The final goal is to optimize the spray nozzles through innovative “meshless” simulations, improving the efficiency and sustainability of the CIRA ice tunnel.
