T-Wing
(design, manufacturing and qualification of innovative WING for next generation of civil tilt rotor)
The project is part of the Clean Sky 2 Fast-Rotorcraft European Research Program and is aimed at developing, prototyping, testing and qualifying an innovative wing (also from a design point of view) in composite material for the NextGenCTR ( Leonardo). The project’s purpose is to carry out studies on the potential “scalability” and “modularity” of thre implementation of the solutions developed on future commercial aircraft, in addition to the use of:
- new materials with low environmental impact
- new technologies
- new architectural solutions
