The project aims at developing an innovative software platform that allows the collection, integration, management and analysis of information on the health status of patients suffering from oncological pathologies (in particular diagnosed with colorectal cancer) using Artificial Intelligence algorithms and systems IoT (wearable devices). The goal is to develop personalized nutritional therapies starting from the awareness of the benefits brought about by correct nutrition on the state of health of patients and their lifestyle. The Epicare platform allows you to monitor the course of the disease even with the active participation of the patient through a personalized mobile interface (self-caring) and support clinical-health decisions with predictive analysis and “big data analytics” tools.

 

ROLE OF MARE GROUP

The role of Mare Group consists in the design and development of advanced Artificial Intelligence tools for the automatic classification and profiling of patients, the prototyping of an Intelligent Dashboard for the personalization of paths and/or follow-up plans and the active monitoring of patients , technological experimentation and validation in a “pilot” clinical environment. Furthermore, as leader, Mare Group is in charge of the communication and dissemination activities of the project results.
