Environmental Monitoring
The project activities are aimed at the engineering and industrialization of a monitoring system created for the control of sloping surface coulters susceptible to generating weather-induced landslides.
The software solution of the MORFEO system consists of a set of components for the collection, processing, interpretation and display of the data coming from the sensors mounted on the inclino-tensiometric units which make up the Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). The software archives the data in a database, and generates alarms if certain conditions occur. The main objective of the MORFEO software is to make useful information available for emergency management in the pre-event and alert phases.
