Q-SCENE enhances A&D simulation platform
With a €4.8 million investment over three years, including €1.9 million allocated to Mare Group, the Q-SCENE programme has received approval from MIMIT.
Mare Group leads the partnership together with BhBlasted, CeSMA and the Department of Agriculture of the University of Naples Federico II. Iniziativa has supported the entire partnership as advisor since the early development of the project.
Mare Group’s XR platform reconstructs realistic 3D environments where simulated training activities can be carried out in complex territorial scenarios.
Through high-performance computing (HPC) and hybrid classical-quantum algorithms, Q-SCENE processes large volumes of data and simulates much wider environments. From a dual-use perspective, the technology has potential applications across several mission-critical areas, including critical infrastructure, industry, security and emergency management.
