Project Debora
(Defect AI-basEd ElaBORation for Electromyographic Needles Assembly)
YEAR

Feb.2023 – Jan.2024

TECHNOLOGIES

Artificial Intelligence

SCOPE

Automation of quality controls in the industrial sector

The DEBORA project aims to respond to the challenge of the Horizon 2020 programme launched in the KITT4SME call. The goal is to create a quality control station for the interception of defects at the tip of electromyographic needles through the use of advanced AI (Artificial Intelligence) tools. The system will be equipped with a collaborative robot and an image acquisition system, which using AI algorithms will allow to accept or discard the needles viewed. The project will allow to realize technologies for the objective control of defects, at high speed and precision, and with a reactive capacity of the system able to exploit the information related to the defects found to improve production.
