The project aims to the development of a new generation Tilt Rotor moving surface prototype, based on thermoplastic composites, protected against lightning strikes by means of a coating deposited via Cold Spray, equipped with a network of sensors for SHM (Structural Health Monitoring ) and having metal parts made using ALM (Additive Layer Manufacturing) technology, based on a custom blend of metal powders (aluminum).
